Delaying an important activity is the sure way to make it more complicated!
Let's imagine, for example, that finalizing an activity is like crossing a lumber slat. Each of us can do it, right ? It just means to hold your balance while slowly putting one feet in front of another. No sweat!
Finalizing the activity right away equals crossing the slat while it's on the ground while every delayed day takes the slat higher up. After a while, you will come to see that even though the situation hasn't changed
- you still need to cross the slat
- it still has the same length
- crossing it means holding you're balance while slowly putting one feet in front of another
finalizing the activity dries you off of energy due to the height the slat has risen to and the risk of falling that make you freeze at each step!
Did it happened to you, too ? I am sure it did. So, to keep things efficient and simple you can choose to cross every slat that you consider important while it's on the ground and avoid height sickness.
PS: In romanian you can refer to delaying an activity as "amanareala" :)
